Conservative media is growing.
We can ask if it is growing in the right direction, but it is not debatable that it is growing.
The Free Press began from journalist Bari Weiss who was one of the few media types who didn't compromise during the 2020 political crackdown on free speech. They eventually formed the website and got subscribers and investment dollars on a platform similar to what we have here at Media Moses, and congratulations to them, but of course, we didn't have the financial support, and most importantly, we don't have the experience as journalists at the New York Times.
Today that not only counts for a little, but it counts for a lot. Their writers they hired, their stories that remained true to their voice got the attention of the new leadership at Paramount, namely David Ellison. Paramount, which is currently the only studio in Hollywood that appears to have a conscience, and a desire to make content for viewers, has now hired Weiss, and purchased the news site which can be found here at https://www.thefp.com/.

The Free Press has been doing their site for a few years now, but their interview show Honestly has had high profile actors on, like Jerry Seinfeld, and high power politicians, like President Milei of Argentina, to grace their humble beginnings. And they have a handful of other small shows and reporting segments, along with a newer show called Conversations with Coleman, that showed up in the last 3 months.
This is not so humble in many ways, but humble as it comes to the amount of support the crazed left in Hollywood will give her in this effort– to put it mildly, they won't.
But there is even BIGGER news than this, news that leftists will hate even more which she reveals in the video above... she has been named the head of CBS News (editor-in-chief).

That is enormous. Not only is Paramount coming around as a legacy institution that has not been entirely unmoored from their mandate to make, not propaganda, but money for investors... CBS News may also be becoming a journalistic institution with integrity again.
Say it ain't so.
We won't count our chickens... and we will continue to watch the situation develop vigilantly... but just so you know, this is enormous news for the future of conservative media. Sure, some do not prefer their very pro-Israel bonifides, and may feel that this compromises their duty to protect America above all other nations, but we have yet to see this allyship with Israel to materialize into an "America-Second" attitude in her reporting.
So, we continue to remain hopeful in this new step to bring conservative media into mainstream media so that their journalistic integrity can return.
