This morning, Isabel Brown, a longtime Turning Point USA announcer and show host of The Isabel Brown Show, which has been a staple in conservative Gen-Z content for years now has announced it has signed on with the Daily Wire. A new show? Yes and no. She plans to work in her new DC home and place of business and run the same show with some new additions, including a new original show with Daily Wire.
The video announcement is here.
I am SO excited to finally announce that my podcast, The Isabel Brown Show, has a new home with @realDailyWire!!

The Daily Wire announced it here.

And then they published a second article about her here as well.

The Daily Wire is certainly going through some changes as of late. The main question in this is, "what kind of change are we seeing?" The detractors of DW will call it a sort of "deconstruction" of the company, while others will call it a restructuring, or even better, the growing pains required to become something bigger, better, and stronger.
So, what does this new change really signal?
Isabel Brown signing on to the Daily Wire could mean many things for the formerly Boreing-led crew, but it does not whatsoever signal that the company is shrinking from the challenge or deconstructing into oblivion. On the contrary, it appears to have taken a new lease on its purpose within the new Daily Wire DC location by moving much of its operation there, including influencers like Brown.
Obviously Isabel Brown could work anywhere and still run a successful show, but I don't think that's DW's idea of success. Instead, I'd say that integrated, purposeful, and productive work does best to create that synthesis we need to build a stronger future in a company like DW. And in-person work does do that better. Especially when the company has a new show planned with you, and in Isabel's case, she has stated that her purpose is community and interview-driven.
Although this does lead to questions about the Nashville headquarters and the "new leadership team" at Daily Wire, as Isabel worded it. Sure, Mike Richards, the new President & Chief Content manager at DW was quoted many times in DW's announcement, but in what context are these answers given? Was it over a five minute zoom meeting? Was it in a large company gathering, and authorization to quote him was given? Was it exclusively for a single visiting blogger, who got to give an exclusive?
Who even is Richards? It's not to say that we don't know about Mike Richards, but no official showing about his goals, aspirations, and legacy at DW has ever hit the public in relationship to his new job. Why is he even there? What are their plans for DW? What is this new leadership team, and what are their new plans for the company?
So many questions still to be answered.
Speaking of a conservative blog that may have shown up to get this news, The Conservateur, a conservative women's lifestyle blog, covers the story here.

The Conservateur is run by a Berkely grad fashion enthusiast, Jayme Franklin, who gives her background here.
