Five Times August Shows the World How To Make Good Music in our Post-Covid World

Table of Contents

Five Times August releases another earth shattering social contagion rock hit, about how screwed up our world has become since the jab. And how this social contagion got created, through the very rock n roll culture that claimed to be counter-culture, but proved to be even bigger shills that the military-industrial complex they sought to destroy.

But that was then, this is now, and now they are the "media industrial complex"... and they are even worse.

"The times they are a-changin'" howled Bob Dylan in his anthemic protest song of the same name. But this isn't a world in which the stakes are our human conscience about modernism, industrialization, or the war against communism-lite hippies, this war is about whether or not we will swallow the viral totalitarian message as spoken by the empty listless vessels, which are our ruling class elite and the media-industrial complex (including the very generation that produced these "peace protests"). You see, this is a protest song about the protest songs that at one time made sense. But seeing the sad reality, that they are turning in on themselves to become the very thing they claimed to hate- the veritable snake eating it's tail. This is truly disturbing to watch.

Is Bob Dylan, himself, complicit? God knows. But the sum of his efforts have now been proven to be a huge lie, and have brought us to this moment in history, the message is now...

"Obey the new boss, worse than the old boss... or else lose everything."

Just imagine if any of Dylan's songs were justifying this "or else" violence? He'd likely bust a gasket at the thought. But this is even more true for so many other artists that came after Dylan, following in the protest tradition... the ones using this schtick to build their entire careers on anti-establishment rhetoric. They made billions on this lie.

Dylan could rightly say that what he started was rational, and this was something that even he couldn't control once Pandora was out of the box. Sure. But then others got to see what it was becoming, and they played along, and then they even literally shilled for the drug companies and for the government after covid hit, in direct violation of their own ethic (which apparently never existed).

So, who are Five Times August?
Featured in a 2022 Gateway Pundit article about their new album Silent War - and featured on both Timcast and Hollywood in Toto twice, they make their protests clear and heartfelt... they are not going to bow down. I have gained much admiration for this stance.

It appears that really they became clear warriors in the fight after the jab and the masks hit. They stood where so many fell under "social pressure." They witnessed and recognized the deaths of thousands as others turned their head and refused to give respect or love to their neighbors. This is the trajectory of their careers since about 2021-2023.

June 7th-9th, 2021 - We get a viral moment where "Outtayerdaminde" skewers the woke insanity that we see now on a daily basis. The Loftus Party, Louder with Crowder, Not the Bee and Twitchy all covers the story. Here's the video.

July 23rd, 2021 - An interview on the Richard Syrett show about "I Will Not Be Leaving Quietly."

Sept 15th, 2021 - An article on the Post-Millennial features the song "Joe" about the botched troop withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Nov 15th, 2021 - They appear at the end of Pat Grey Unleashed where the song about Dr Fauci goes crazy and even gets banned at one point.

Nov 30th, 2021 - Tim Pool discusses the censorship and shows the song on his show Timcast IRL.

This song goes viral for the month of December, 2021. Numerous conservative outlets cover him from the Federalist, to Washington Examiner, to Chrissie Mayr, to Shannon Burke, to Glenn Beck, to Chad Prather, this cancellation only helped his career.

On Jan 23rd, 2022 - He gets to perform "Silent War" at the Defeat the Mandates protest at the Lincoln Memorial in DC.

Oct 28th, 2022 - He also interviews on Joseph Arthur's Technicolor Dreamcast radio show where he discusses his album "Silent War" as well as his career. Arthur is an exceptional musician and artist himself.

Then in November 2022 - Another media blitz where his new album "Silent War" gets a lot of buzz, and then his song "Gates Behind The Bars" gets cancelled as well. Gee, I can't imagine why.

April 1st, 2023 - This is when Tim Pool & Five Times August gets kicked off the Bandcamp platform, and Tim discusses their lawsuit against Bandcamp here.

June 2023 - Then anti-woke record label Baste Records signs Five Times August as reported here on Post-Millennial, and Hollywood in Toto does a MASSIVE article featuring a ton of artists you can discover, some of whom we have discussed here. Like Van Morrison, Eric Clapton, Hi-Rez, Jimmy Levy, Cassius Julius, Muse, Brevner, RC the Rapper, Blind Joe, Nate, and a Freedom-related song playlist down below.
