The Salvation Poem Project was something I wasn't aware of until I was searching for animated Christian films, and I saw much of the campaign process for making the film which was eventually completed. This was about a year ago.
And then the trailer started showing up, first quietly, and then on other faith-based movie showings in theaters, which was quite delightful to see, because it was an altogether different feeling on the big screen than on YouTube.
Really beautiful!!
This film appears to be made for the big screen. It is larger than life when it hits that screen! It gives even more power to the emotional scenes, especially.
But wait– what is this "Salvation Poem Project?" Ahh yes, I forgot to tell you.
First, let me show you the heart behind the film, then on to the "Salvation" song, because seeing the heart of these creators get behind the film is really something. It tells you something more about who they are now, rather than the small project that they started back then.
But the audacity and bravery of a few artists to believe Jesus when He says we can do "even greater things than these,"– the idea that they CAN change the world, is such a powerful idea, when done IN FAITH.
This is what they started with, and this simple faith has brought them from a powerfully simple song, to an animated film as big and bright as this one...
Here is the song... as sung by the very people it was meant to reach, those new to the gospel.
That's right– this kind of faith can get enormously big projects completed. And it's the kind of faith we claim here at Media Moses as well. That as we continue forward, supporting and building the conservative Christian artists voice, that we too CAN change the world!
