A Kickstarter Campaign a few years in the making finally completed but did so with glorious majesty. I love seeing these get fiulfilled with such grandeur.

The initial funding occurred in early 2023, but not everything was easily fulfilled and many were open to the additional challenges of fulfilling additional stretch goals that were not even required– they were simply desired.

These classics, like The Faerie Queene, Paradise Lost, Pilgrim's Progress, Beowulf, The Iliad, The Odyssey, The Aeneid, The Lord of the Rings, and the Chronicles of Narnia, all contain the essential stuff that makes western civilization what it is today. And when these classics are gone our civilization will be spent. People like us are the ones who keep it alive, and the meaning it gives is is what holds the strings of that society together.
As Christians we know, the fact that we have learned so much from the Bible speaks of how stories that contain truth are so very important to a society and a people. And just like if the Bible was erased, Christianity would be destroyed, so also, if the physical copies of these stories disappeared western civilization would likewise crumble.
It would take less than a generation for it to show the true signs of that very real death.
But as we know the Bible will never disappear, but that is because the Kingdom of God wouldn't allow it, but where are the people who refuse to let western civilization suffer such a fate? I'd say that most westerners aren't even aware of all of these books, much less read them. To them they may as well not exist, already.
Have you read these books and made them aware of them to others. I'd say– do so. Read them, and read the history behind them. Then tell others. Keep the flame alive.
